Apex Theatre Studio will present its eighth annual Fall Performance Showcase at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Friday, November 17th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20.00 general admission and go on sale Wednesday, August 31st at 10:00am online at Ticketmaster.com.
“We are excited to feature over seventy-five young theatre artists from the North Florida area,” remarked Ian Mairs, Managing Director of Apex.
The studio’s musical theatre workshop will present highlights from the fall musical Godspell as well as selections from the holiday show, Annie Jr. The acting workshop will be featured in scenes from Antigone, a contemporary retelling of the Greek classic. Capping out the evening are performances from the vocal studio students, as well as a number for the summer’s highly successful production of Moana, Jr (Penguin Project). This year will feature a special guest performance from young artists from JAMS, the Jacksonville Arts and Music School.
Established in 2013, Apex Theatre Studio Inc. (501c3) is the premiere training facility in Northeast Florida for intermediate and advanced level young theater artists. The studio combines a robust performance schedule (ten productions a year), interaction with nationally recognized guest artists, and an experienced teaching staff to provide a dynamic learning environment.
